I've been forcing my self so much at the basketball training and finally, I am part of the team, but i wasn't playing for this tournament and I was the team official.The trip was started in "Merpati's" basketball club at 08.00 o'clock. Our trip was heading to Java, specifically Pasuruan. We were invited to a basketball tournament that was held there, it joined by 4 teams that were us (merpati), Unibaya (Surabaya), Pasuruan (the home team) and last but not least Ubaya (The university who wins the university basketball league). We went to Java with a simple bus, enough for 40 people, but the sit was extremely small, that everyone of us couldn't straighten our feet. After been sitting at the bus for around 8 hours, finally we arrived at the hotel where we were spending most of our time. Our first match was held the first day we arrived there, and it was midnight, 1am. Our team was wasted since we were sitting at the bus for that such a long time so, we lost our first match. The good news came when I woke up on the second day, my coach said that for the official we are going to have a friendly match today. At 4 PM me and the other officials got ready and went to the court. Our opponent has waited for our arrival. The game was quite good, on the second quarter of the game we led 8 points from them , but at the end of the game we lost by two points. The second game of the team was very good, everyone was fired up and we won 32- 64. The third day was the hardest day since we should face the university who wins the indonesian university league. On the noon of the third day we went to "Jatim park", it's like dufan and got many games that are simmilar to Dufan. The third game was actually quite good, but in the first place we lost our players body postures. They were very tall, one of them was around 2 meters tall. We lost our 3rd game, but in generall we got the second position out of four teams.
Hanging out with those basketball guys were amazing, I learned a lot from this tryout. I really hope that I can join another one.
