Well, I've been back from the basketball tournament that was held in Negara, Jembrana since Sunday. This tournament was better than the one that we joint in Java. On the first place, we won the tournament and second of all I was part of the team, somehow a good improvement since on the previous tournament i wasn't.
The trip was started at 8 AM meet up in the basketball court (our daily basketball court), but INDONESIAN TIME will always rule the plan, so everyone gathered together around 9 o'clock. We straight away heading Jembrana, the journey took around 4 hours. I was in the same car with coach, and he told me "Indra kamu pake baju nomer 5" (Indra you wear jersey number 5). Yuhhuuuuu. . . .what a good start of a trip. Our first destination when we arrived at Jembrana was the basketball court. The basketball court was massive, it is an indoor court, with a spectacular lighting and crowd. Our second destination was the place where we were staying in, somehow it was a hotel but not as good as hotel. Our coach, separate us for who will be staying in one and different room.
After the room separation, we took our rest because later on around 9 PM we are going to against Sahabat (Team from Surabaya). At 8.30 we were heading back to the court and ready to rock the game. The result of the game was quite amazing, 62-34 and we won. Back to the "hotel" and went to their dream.
The second day of the trip was fired up when Dismas (our junior) knocked everybody's door room and woke us up, it was around 8 o'clock. We went to the restaurant and had a plate of simple "Nasi Goreng" served with two slices of cucumber and a piece of Krupuk. The day went on with a normal stuff, until then at 11 0'clock checked out from the hotel and headed the court for the second game.
The second game was against the home team and the result of the game was as good as yesterday. After this game, the winner of the tournament was announced and We "MERPATI" (our basketball team name) won the trophy and received the first place.
The drove home was longer than the going trip, the traffic was driving us crazy. When we arrived at the court (our daily basketball court), Robi and Yogie (My friend) picked me up and fetched me home.
This second trip from with the basketball team was amazing. Everyone of us becomes a family, and from time to time we are getting closer. This is what the real team should have been.
